Dance Workshops to Combat Racism, Oppression, and Bullying (January - March 2025). Funded by the Saskatchewan Community Initiatives Fund. We hope you participate in Re-Creating Community Together. DSI is looking for dance artists/instructors to commit to educational, cultural, and inspirational experiences for elementary and high school students. If you are passionate about dance and enjoy teaching a variety of ages either hip hop, breaking, hoop dance, jigging, cultural dance, or other dance forms, please apply. Qualifications include experience and/or an educational background in dance, either through continued professional development or through completion of accredited programs. You must have a strong dance teaching background and an ability to inspire students who may have experienced discrimination, racism, and/or bullying. Applicants will also be working with teachers in a mentorship capacity, to help educators better engage with arts in the classroom.(Artists will receive arts education curriculum training) Please complete this questionnaire (12 questions), so that Dance Saskatchewan Inc.
